Container Box & Printing Co. (The). 30 gallon jettison fuel tanks. Premises accessed via old entrance to BAT between 90 and 92, Regents Park Road, Southampton? SO15 8PD. We are still trying to obtain permission to place a plaque in this location. Can you help with this?

Dyas, J.C. Shop blinds and tent maker. 149, Payne’s Road, Freemantle, Southampton. Engine and hub covers. Now Winsor House, flats, 149, Paynes Rd, Southampton. SO15 3SQ. We are awaiting written permission from the management company of the location.

Government Training Centre. Old Redbridge Road, Southampton. Listed subcontractor making machined details. Now the site of a housing development: Brunel Road, Southampton. SO15 0LR. We are awaiting written permission from the management company for the location.

Itchen Works Air Raid Shelters. “Two pieces of land at Itchen”. Land, liable to flooding, filled with bombed building rubble and level raised. Open space for recreation and local nature reserve below Pear Tree Green.

Subcontractors

Southampton Electric Joinery Works. Subcontractor from early 1939/40. Supplemented the wood shop at Woolston with trestles, steps, bins etc. ATC Property Maintenance (vacated) 190, Spring Road, Sholing, Southampton. SO19 2QG. We are trying to find the owner of the site to gain permission to place the plaque. Do you know who owns 190 Spring Road?
